EDJE Enterprises is an exterior façade company that specializes in varies cladding and wall panel system. I have gain a lot of experience working for this company. I have taken on several very large high-end architectural drafting jobs. Many hotels, hospitals, apartment complexes & business centers, etc. My drafting duties were centered around installation drawings of exterior panel systems. Things such as ACM, metal roof wall & soffit panels as well as other siding and composite materials with the primary focus being on rain-screen systems. When needed I was able to quickly moved to other areas like the estimating department. Providing detailed digital takeoffs of materials. I also help with project management. Contacting manufacturers and suppliers. Organizing and orchestrating material orders. Going to job site visits and consulting with general contractors and architect design teams. Covering each of these areas has really rounded me into a key member of my team. Over the years I have been able to organize the companies overall structure by implementing smarter ideas and newer technologies. I will be forever grateful for my time spent here and the experiences I have gained along the way.

Storyland Studios Creates event & themed props as well as custom signs and building accents. This job was a very unique experience. Where else can you say “I helped make a full-scale prop of a transformer robot". This job was very challenging at times since most everything was a custom one of a kind piece. Often times we would have to make up a completely new process that had never been done before. My main job was designing and manipulating 2D & 3D drawing in Rhino & AutoCAD, then sending those files to computer-aided machinery (C.A.M.), From there the machines would work the file path and design the prop or set piece. The materials were generally high-density eps foams that would then get sprayed with hard plastic resin. I had a lot of fun at this job and was always eager to go into work to see what new amazing creation I would be apart of.

Engineering Team drafter

Working for this company was a great opportunity for me. HP Is a telecommunication company that helps lay new subterranean cables for all the major cable providers for southern California. My responsibilities were to designed plans that helped guide field crews by showing them the route lines for new/existing fiber optic as well as traditional cable lines. Work consisted of setting up layouts for manhole systems within AutoCad. Using google earth to calculate route lengths and necessary cable amounts from manholes to man hole. This was overflow work that was contracted out to me. This meant that often times it was very overdue so a fast-paced work ethic, as well detail-oriented level of skill was essential. I loved working for them and getting the chance to build up my first real-world experience early in my career.
